Staging a Home, Big Cost, Little Cost - Your Call
Ok, before we begin, I used to own a house cleaning business, so listen up.
Fine, you've held off listing with that nice pain-in-the-ass realtor until the house is in order. Now what?
There are professional home stagers out there who will, for a fee of course, come in and do their magic. I love stagers, they're mostly women and I love women! Then maybe trips to furniture stores, art shops, lighting places, etc. Hell why bother moving, the house looks great, and besides you're broke. OR......
All this is well and good, but there is one thing that is low cost, maybe labour intensive, and can rival all the above. CLEAN THE DAMNED HOUSE !!! Thoroughly. Make a list of things not part of routine cleanings. Use a toothbrush if necessary. Seriously.
